The Compressor Characterizer

The Compressor Characterizer is a tool that determines, on line, the real characteristics and parameters of operating points of compressors and turbines. It works fully automatic. A manual control is also possible.

• The Characterizer is connected with other tools. It makes simulations and a steady optimizing of the gas network possible;
• The Characterizer automatically controls the condition and the performance of the machinery. This is the base for future decisions about changes in machinery.
• The Characterizer determines necessary repairs and controls the planning of maintenance. It also prevents against machine downfall and makes it possible to keep the machinery efficiently in operation;
• The Characterizer makes it possible to test the condition of the machine on the spot, without sending the machine to a test stand of the producer;
• Other gains have to do with the efficient use of fuel, load sharing between machines, the use of simulations and the use for the control system;
