The improvement of the performance of machinery, but also a of complete gas pipeline network, can be studied and analyzed by simulations. This relates not only to an efficient use of energy, maintenance planning, load sharing and the use of storage capacity, but also to matters like the calculation of the thickness of an off shore pipeline.
Connected to the existing control systems, the tools can fully automatic optimize the performance of the machinery and the network. The optimization takes into account not only costs and the physical conditions of the machinery and the gas, but also the conditions of sales contracts.
